A space to feel heard and understood

Person-centred counselling in Brighton & Hove and online

Why therapy?

Lavender fields with purple flowers in rows under a partly cloudy sky.

People come to therapy for all sorts of reasons. You don’t need a diagnosis, or to be in crisis. You don’t need to know what to say. Many people come simply because something doesn’t feel quite right, or because they want a space where they don’t have to hold everything on their own. Reasons people might come to therapy include:

  • feeling overwhelmed, anxious, low, or stuck

  • finding relationships difficult or repeating patterns

  • carrying things from the past that still affect you

  • feeling self-critical, burnt-out or disconnected

  • to address neurodivergent trauma, or to explore your neurodivergence

It’s not necessarily about what is happening, but about having a place where you can slow down and be met with understanding.
